Erected in affectionate remembrance of CHRISTINA third daughter of ROBERT NICOL. died at Traquair 31.7.1863 aged 16 years and on the same day GEORGINA LEARMONT his youngest daughter aged 7 years and of JEANNIE his eldest daughter and wife of THOMAS HOPE died at Dalkeith 8.10.1870 aged 26 years and of JANET his second daughter and wife of ARCHIBALD NICOL died at Innerleithen 3.11.1911 aged 65 years (On the other side) also in affectionate remembrance of JESSIE LEARMONT beloved wife of ROBERT NICOL died at Innerleithen 28.11.1905 aged 80 years and of ARCHIBALD NICOL husband of JANET NICOL and nephew of the above ROBERT NICOL died at Innerleithen 25.12.1927 aged 82 years.
